According to the manual here: http://www.gaggia-canada.ca/PDF/Titanium_ist.pdf there is no power to the machine. If there is power to the receptacle then the machine is faulty. It most likely has an internal fuse, you will have to dissasemble the machine to examine for a burnt fuse or any other burnt or broken component. Also, you will want to check that the power switch is working properly, open with off and closed with on.

Not sure, most likely near the power connector. You'll have to take it apart to find out.

Try to un plug the power cable which is connect to your power surg and try to get the cable connected to the a different power outlet and you can check the fuse too which might be blow in the plug itself.

    Dont forget to rate Fixya

    Thanks

You have to replace the plug head. Purchase a heavy duty commercial grade head, and take care to
make sure you have the polarized plug properly grounded to avoid
    electrocution.

Try a different outlet.
The internal thermal fuse could be damage.

Defuser unit stuck at bottom of Delonghi magnifica coffee machine. Squeezing red buttons does not help. Cannot remove

Recycling the power resets the position of the defuser. When you turn it off, make sure you do it via the button on the front before swutching it off at the power point.

No water/coffee comes through? the temprature indicators doesnt light up?

The POWER LIGHT for the 889 is RED and located on the LEFT of the center cowling

The BOILER LIGHT for the 889 is YELLOW and located on the RIGHT of the center cowling

If you turn on the power to the unit (the INNER SWITCH on the RIGHT SIDE) the RED light should turn on, showing that the machine is powered. At that point the YELLOW light should also turn on for about 10 seconds, at which point it will turn OFF with an audible CLICK.

If the RED light does not turn on then you have a very dead machine.

If the RED light does turn on but the YELLOW light does not then you have a half dead machine.

Opening up and repairing the 889 is not for amateurs. High voltage, heat and pressure inside.

If you decide to bin the machine I would appreciate getting the drip tray from you as I have lost mine.

Where is the fuse on a saeco royal professional unit? i lost all the power on my espresso machine and i'm assuming the fuse is the problem but i cannot seem to locate it on the unit itself?

There is a special *amp fuse inside on the back bottom of the machine. It is next to the pump. There is a gray cover over the power filter where the fuse is ;located. You can see the power wires going into the cover. There is also a special .35maT fuse that is on the back of the power board.
