Using the Browser, there is a zoom function on Internet Explorer up to 400%. It is under the view command.

Word processors such as word also have a zoom command.

Under windows 8, you can personalise the screen under the control panel and expand the text. There is also a magnifier function for parts of the screen.

My computer keeps doing weird things, i.e. the cursor blinks like it's got static. Sometimes the page with just freeze & I have to reboot. My other issue is words overlapping on screen, I can't see all...

My friend it sounds like you have a virus or trojen. Can you run your virus program, if you can'r try running it in safe mode, by restarting and hitting F8 in most machines. "yours may vary", but if you look at it as it boots ,"at the bottom" you should be able to see which F button it is, try running the program from there. If you can still download, go get "spybot, Search and destroy", get the latest Free version, if you can get it in your machine, you may be able to get it out with tha program. Most techs are familiar with it and many install it on new builds. If you are unsucessfull in all your efforts you may have to put the drive into another machine and run the virus program through there of from a flash drive, sorry this one is not so easy to fix. But determination will always work. If worse comes to worse, instead of making yourself nuts, just re install the operating system, first format and "f disk" the drive then just re install. It happens to us all

Cannot print correctly from the internet it will only print the code but will print from my documents fine.

You'll find that you have to select (highlight) copy and then paste it to say, a word file. Now about the only way you can accurately print something from the internet is if you see Printer Friendly- or print from copy.
If you have never copied and pasted before this is very useful...Select what you want to copy, right click and you see the word copy...now as long as you don't right click again it will stay just as you selected it. Now go to Word, word pad, note pad, almost and thing with a blinking cursor, open it and right click again and choose Paste this time and what ever you copied will be displayed. Very useful commands,
Good choice on printers, I have a photosmart 1000 and it still works like new.
Hope you can follow my jibberish.
Please leave a rating, thank you kindly
