Need a manual for my Vizio W32L hdtv40A. Remote

Question edited for clarity, 'Manuel' is a Spanish gentleman, 'manual' is the book of instructions.

No one uses Universal Remotes these days. Have a read for a better solution.

Vizio TV Remote Codes

Could be the capacitors going or have gone out. This is a common problem with Vizio TVs...including mine recently. Check out YouTube for tutorials on how to change the capacitors.

You have to reprogram the iuniversal remote fucntion of the Vizio remote to the settings of your sat/cable box.

The owner's manual and other useful downloads can be found at InsigniaProducts.com. Just search for your TV model number!

If the backlights for the screen do come on and you also have 12v and 5v feed the main board then it does sound like the mainboard will need to be replaced.

Press the TV button on the lower right (not the upper right) to tell the remote to control the TV.

The upper buttons are the Input Selector buttons. The lower buttons are the Device Control Selector buttons.

I had this same problem until this dawned on me.
