No sound on my Windows XP desktop

Specs: Windows XP
No sound card installed

I removed my audio driver by accident (SoundMAX) and now it wont play my music. It shows the track is running on Windows Media Player but the sound was not there. Steps that I did include

1. Went to Device Manager > Right click Sound Controller: Uninstall
2. Restarted
3. Installed drivers automatically: same issue
4. Looked online but dunno which driver to download to get the audio back.

Any help will be greatly appreaciated.

No audio sounds on speakers. I have had rebooted windows XP software. Tried the Troubleshooting guidelines but to no avail.

Bluetooth AV Audio is my default device.

The DirectSound test results: Failure at step 19 (User verification of software): HRESULT = 0x00000000 (error code)

Is it possible that the cause of my audio problem was this notation i got after the sound test failed - that Digital signer is not digitally signed..whcih means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). That i need to get a WHQL logo'd driver from the hardware manufacturer.

Please help me to reolve this problem...i have gone through toubleshooting all day...and until now...got no audio from my speakers. The image in CD/DVD is ok...but again no audio as well.

    Regards,

    Marii

Most online audio makes use of Adobe Flash, did you check that?
Best is to download and install the latest version of Flash to make sure.

Installing the latest version of DirectX for Windows XP can also help (9.0c).
