Question about Hoover H130E Front Load Washer

1 Answer

Door on the Hoover washing machine, model H130E

The door on the washing machine is shut, however the light on the control panel indicating that the door is locked won't come on which means the washing machine won't run the wash cycle!!

I've tried pushing the door firmly, switching the washing machine on and off but nothing helps!! I'm completely lost, the washing machine is only 3 yrs old!

Any ideas!!

Many thanks

the door interlock has failed and needs too be replaced
you can find this easily changed out part on ebay or from spares suppliers

you usually need to take the top off the machine
power off and open the door and remove the two screws at the lock
reach down and take out the interlock mecha
plug in a new one and put it back and screw it back on

very easy...

The door hinge has snapped is it easy to take off and replace.

Two screws hold the hinge to the frontplate of the machine which goes into a threaded nut welded to the panel (torque to 30/40 foot pounds or relatively snug).. just remove the screws and raise the hinge and pull forward..(keyhole slotted on)... then reverse to attach the new door...

The functions has stoped but the door is not getting open.the model is hoover nextra.what i should do to get the door open?

switch off at the wall then manually drain the water using the (emergency drain outlet near bottom) if your model does not have one of these turn on and off at wall then set the wash programme to drain only this will be indicated in the manual of on the programme guide on the front panel.

Now your door should unlock once the water is drained.

Hoover H130E 'Superwash' and start light flashing after cycle....

You might try unplugging the power cord for 5 minutes, then restore power again. Try the machine again--if still has problems (beat son severely), you may have to replace the control unit.

L g washer

is water still in the machine. if so check the pump (the little door at the base of the machine) first use that little tube to drain the water. there is a safety feature on front load washers that does not allow the washer to open if it is full of water
