Romote site can't see graphics from PC

Hi, I am currently in a video conferencing session, and when I try to show the content from the computer to the remote site, I am unsuccessful. This was working fine, but for some reason it is not now. Any suggestions?

Are the endpoints the same? Have there been any upgrades to the endpoints? If you are trying to use H.239 (dual video), you may encounter issues.

If you are trying to just send the computer as another input, this should work. Be sure that you can see the input locally.

Corporations and other places of business have restrictions in place to filter web content, chat, video conferencing, and other distractions that hinder productivity. There are no workarounds these policies while on their network. You would have to use your own Access Point like a phone or wireless card, but even these can be blocked within a secure area.

Only two things drive video. The graphics card and the motherboard. Sounds like m'board is eligible for a serious tech session.

How to activate my web cam

As I would suggest all the posters, please do mention the make and model of the computer that you are using. Here as you have posted under Sony Notebook, I think you own a VAIO, in VAIO, the computers are shipped with ArcSoft Web companion. Please click Start button and then in the search box, please type in ArcSoft Web companion, this will bring up the application. You can use the same to capture Videos and Pictures. For Video conferencing, you need use Skype, Yahoo Messenger or other video conferencing applications.

If any clarifications, please get back to me the exact model # of the computer.

How can I use my video chat on my laptop

Usually if you have a computer installed with OEM OS, it will come with some camera software that ay be used for Video conferencing. However, you may use other Video conferencing applications such as Yahoo Messenger, Skype, GTalk for the same. It is required to download and install these applications in the computer and configure the same to start the video conferencing.

For example, I below is the link to download the Yahoo Messenger applications along with the Video tutorial.

I am trying to connect my HP Laptop (Compaq 6710b) to my Polycom VS7000 to use as a second monitor. I know it should work, but I have know instructions on how to link the two. Thank you! Rob Low...

You can connect a monitor to your laptop if it has a vga adapter/HDMI output on a separate graphics card (as opposed to a motherboard mounted "on board" graphics solutions) ...but I havn't heard of connecting your laptop to another computer input to use it as another monitor. Far as I know that is not possible...unless you have a very special laptop. You could, theoretically, remote connect to another computer, then you could have that computer's display on the 2nd computer...You would have to make sure "no interaction" was selected though, or someone on the laptop could access the other computer, and do whatever to it. I think Teamviewer may do it...Crossloop you need to have someone on both machines I believe. But it doesn't sound like remote connection is the solution you are asking for. What you are asking for, isn't done. (typically)

How do i use the crystaeye webcam ?

Install the drivers. If it's installed and detected correctly, you can use it to take pictures by going to "My Computer", "CrystalEye Webcam" and clicking "take picture".
If you want to use it for video-conferencing or video chatting, go to your communication program and configure the webcam, after it's configured, start the video session.
For example in the main windows of MSN Messenger, go to "tools", "audio and video setup" and choose the best options for your webcam, then in a chat window, go to "Actions", "Video" and "Show my webcam" or "Start Video-conference".

VSX 7000A connects domestically but cannot connect internationally

Please check with your Internet Service provider. They might have a firewall which blocks the ports used for video conferencing
