Question about Samsung SYNC SGH-A707 Cellular Phone
My phone was on low battery...plugged it in and made a call, which I did with my previous phone all the time. My phone shut down during phone call, so I plugged it in. The only thing I can get to come up on the display now when I press the power on button is "SGH A707". Does this mean I need a new battery? Does anyone know for sure? I've only had my phone since December.
If there is no other damage to your phone ie; dropped, water damage, etc, then the problem probably is the battery. If you have insurance with your current carrier, then you can get the phone replaced. This is usually a $50 deductible. Also, there is usually a 12 month Warranty Repair/Replacement option. If you purchased the phone from a retail location and still have the receipt.
