Hi,

Your problems states that photos are being blank when trying to print it.
Please try these tips.

  • Make sure your printer is selected in the Print window or in the Macintosh Page Setup and Print windows.
  • The print head nozzles may need cleaning.
  • Make sure your printer software settings are set for the paper size you're using.

Plus,i also wanted to know if you can print ordinary documents or print a test page.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

canon.gifPrinting an Envelope

For details about how to load an envelope into the printer, see the user's manual.

The procedure for performing envelope printing is as follows:

1. Fold down the envelope flap.

2. When loading the envelope in the rear tray, orient the envelope so that the flap is on the left and the folded surface is facing down.

3. Open the printer driver setup window, and select Envelope from the Media Type list on the Main tab.

4. Click the Page Setup tab, and select Youkei 4, Youkei 6, Comm. Env. #10, or DL Env. for Page Size.

5. Select Landscape for Orientation.

6. Click OK.

When you execute print, the information is printed on the envelope.

Hpw do i print out a envalope

Without knowing what printer you have, this is a general answer. Most printers allow you to print an envelope through the manual feed. The software you are using (Word, etc) will be used to select the envleope paper size. Key in your information and then print. The program will usually prompt you to insert the envelope and then continue.

I am unable to print an address on an envelope.... it comes out blank

Hello,

It sounds like to paper setting is wrong. In the configuration you can set if the envelope in on the right side, left side or center of the paper feed. If it is set one way and you feed the envelope the other way the printer will print but on the wrong end of the feed area so nothing will be on the envelope. Try this, print an address label as you would on the envelope but just use a full sheet of paper. If it prints where you can see it, then feed the envelope on that side, or change the feed settings in your software to print on the other side. Office and most other programs have this setting. In MS word the orientation setting is on the envelope and label screen on the right side of the pop up box.

I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.

Envelopes won't print

Whichever application you are using for printing envelopes must have a set up icon and set, in options, for envelopes

That will show in which position your envelopes will be, when being transported through the printer. Like, print side up, right side of transport, and like that.

Make sure you haven't bypassed this, and be certain that the pass through matches what the printer expects when printing envelopes

My Word 2003, when using an InkJet printer, expects it on the right side, print up. When using my color LaserJet, expects to see the envelope in the center, print side down.

I hope this helps,

Printing small envelopes

In Word 2007, use the Mailing > Envelopes > Options section.

In 2003 I think it was under Tools > Envelopes & Mailings > Options.

There you'll be able to specify if the manual feed is top first or edge first, to the left, centered, or to the right, and how far over and down to place the address and return address.

After a few adjustment runs, it works great.

LEXMARK X1240 WON'T PRINT ENVELOPES

I was so pissed off that so many on the web had this same problem that I spent many hours trying to get it to work. I am sure that this is not how it is designed to work but my envelopes got printed.First I went under File, Print, Properties to Page Set-up for envelope #10. I also ********** print colour images in black and white which someone else had suggested- although it might not be necessary. I selected quick print but normal should probably work too. I then closed out these two windows. Then under tools, I selected Letters and Mailing, then envelopes and labels, typed in the addresses, went under options and changed the feed from automatic to default tray, which automatically changes the feed method to the 4th one out of 6 which wasn't what I wanted but ignore it. Check off face up. Putting the envelope into the printer was bizarre- it has to be inserted very far into the printer until only 2-3 inches of the envelope stick above the horizontal surface of the printer. It must be inserted into the middle of the paper holder, until it is just 2-3 inches sticking up, and then slide it all the way over to the right where the printer indicates the envelope should be- nice and straight against the right margin. Do not use the movable paper holders that they suggest you swing over to the right to hold your envelope- or printing won't occur for some odd reason. Press O.K. on envelopes and labels and then press print. Good luck- it worked for me.

I have a hp 2849 all in one printer. When I print envelopes they print blank.

When you print an envelope, let the printer print on a regular sheet of paper to see if it's printing in an area not in line with the envelope.

This example is from Open Office. Microsoft is pretty much the same. What this is showing is the position of the envelop feeder so you know which one to select so that it can print correctly. The software must be set up correctly. The arrows show the path of the paper feed.

To find this in Office, click on TOOLS, LETTERS AND MAILINGS, ENVELOPES AND LABELS.

Click on the envelope in the FEED box.

This window will show the feed position of the envelope using an 8x11 as a point of reference.
