Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I am trying to print to my BRADY 300X PLUS THERMAL PRINTER FROM Auto CAD. Some drivers dont work at all and the one that I do get to work prints with poor resolution. This was working properly up untill about 3 weeks ago when a windows update came in and both of my Brady printers stoped working. any ideas?

mmm...Maybe try updating the firmware. That printer is a Zebra Z96XiIII Plus printer. Zebra made a change in their code for the onboard clock in version 22.214.171.124 See if you have that version and if not, you can to to www.zebra.com and download firmware for the printer.

Your printer firmware got corrupted or if yu tried to upgrade, it did not complete successfully. Most probably you will have to do a firmware install

Brady printers have a sensor that reads information from the cartridge. The printer will not work if a connection cannot be made to the cartridge.The most common cause of failure is in the cartridge and switching to a different cartridge usually fixes that problem. Having the same problem with two cartridges is starting to indicate there is a failure in the printer, although it is possible (but not likely) to have two cartridges in row fail. A good first step is to be sure the printer is clean. If that doesn't work you'll most likely need to send your printer in for repair.
