Unplug, every thing, take batteries out of remotes etc, remove power from all parts.I mean every parts. leave out for about a minute. reconnect all. try then

The panel has failed and it is unlikely that it was your dogs fault.

I think you still have warranty, it sounds you have faulty control panel, even if it's new does not mean it is good.

If the hum sound is coming from the bottom panel then it is the moto that has gone bad and needs replacement. However, if you hear the sound from the control then it can be due to a bad relay in the control and it is recommended to replace the control completely. hello hmm ok so no lights it sounds like your control panel after unplugging your dish washer check the panel for loose wires the panel is the part behind were your buttons are located will have to remove your back cover to access this if that's all good then try your power cord again make sure its not got any loose wires were it attaches into the dish washer have a nice day and good luck let me know if you find anything.

An expert from another site says it's a faulty control panel and may need new actuators.

I have the same problem. I've tried everything;even took apart the control panel and checked for corosion. I ended up changing the control board-$130 down the drain- The only other thing I can figure is the button panel has some sort of short- also ~$130-. good luck. Now I use the sink (wife's not happy) Tech sheet is behind kick plate.

This is an unusual failure. The humming could be a motor (or valve) that has power but isn't moving. But that doesn't explain the (absence of) lights on the control panel. I suggest you call a professional.
