try this: delete epson c43sx drivers then reinstall them then go to the Epson web site and look for an updated driver, if that does not work take the whole cartridge harness out, under the harness you will see a contact board and you will see another one on the printer, get cleaning solvent and a cotton buds, dip cotton bud into the cleaning solvent, turn cotton buds sideways and clean the contact boards on both the cartridge and the printer, clean until and refresh cotton buds until you get a a clean cotton bud tip, let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes, reinstall the harness and try again, if that does not work you could have a main board problem contact Epson.
