it seems that wireless is not supported, and you must use a USB cable. Check that the connectors are the correct ones; printer accepts a type B ('house') male connector (plug)

The image shows two connectors (which may be on either end of a single cable, and what I think you need) lower is type B (printer end) , upper is type A (computer end, most commonly). Available in various lengths, you need USB 2.0 spec.
Please note that Lexmark does not recommend the use of refilled cartridges. Refilled cartridges tend to degrade in print quality and performance.
You may try to re-seat the cartridge and make sure it's properly seated in the cartridge carrier. Also note that once a cartridge is refilled, it can no longer register its ink level.

If your looking for cheap ink, try buying a more expensive printer as ink for the expensive printers are relatively cheaper. I also tried refilling the inks for my printer but to no avail, it simply leaked out the bottom making a big mess
“Lexmark does not support the refilling of its ink cartridges. Refilling the ink cartridges can cause them to leak, thus clogging or even damaging the print head. Any damage to your printer caused by refilled ink cartridges may not be covered under warranty”. Please use genuine Lexmark cartridges for best results.
Perhaps update your adobe reader software, or try opening your saved pdf through a web browser, although it still uses adobe maybe it will simply work that way? good luck.
