My integrated logitech cam on my Acer Aspire 5670 stopped working some time ago and I was told by Acer that it would cost upwards of $400 to fix. So I just bought a usb logitech webcam for notebook, but now I'm getting the blue screen of death again, saying the problem is with lv321av.sys. It happens almost immediately when starting up.

It has happened again, again, and again.

me too, blue screen with my acer aspire 5680 with orbicam, no external cam added, the cause is the driver of the internal cam. Possibile that acer haven't a patch for this problem?

I have same problem with my acer aspire 5680. Blue screen!! Problem is from orbicam's driver. I haven't got other external webcams installed. Possible that Acer haven't released a patch for this big problem?

Other then removing the web cams physical connection to the motherboard, the way to "fix" this is to boot into safe mode, go to the device manager, find imaging devices, then disable the logitech camera. That should prevent the BSOD issue.

So just disabling won't work, the program and driver need to be uninstalled by add/remove programs or the vista/7 equivilent.

Same here.. I experience a blue screen of death at 30 sec interveval non-stop, even while restauring my systeme. I know the webcam is guilty, but even so i do not use it, i haven't found a way to 'uninstall' it that will solve my problem. My computer is near unusable 'cause of this. I'm using Vista.

I must say, seeing how much people are experiencing problem with this webcam that I'm really not impressed at the developper of this webcam & driver...
