I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 notebook and for some reason it has stopped printing. It's networked to Brother MFC 5460CN. Don't think it's the printer because my son is also networked to same printer and he can still print. Tried removing and reinstalling driver and get "printer driver cannot communicate with the machine". Can someone help me to print again?
In your words I think the problem is : you machine can not connect the printer.
1. reinstall USB driver to using the USB cable.
2. you can search the Printer or not, if not Please close the firewall and open the Guest account then add a printer from work group.
See if you can get it to install drivers useing USB cable,
Make sure your firewall is not blocking it<--turn firewall off and try..
