Question about Car Audio & Video
This indicates that a problem has been found in the final output stage of the amplifier. The amp stays off to prevent further damage. Remove all of the speaker wires and try again. If the protect message remains, the problem is within the amp and th amp will need service. If you are able, check the output transistors for a shorted condition as that is the most common failure part.
