If it does not even start then it is power supply. If it stopped running at all then it is probably the motor. If it runs but not dries is the heating element to be replaced.

NORMALLY WHEN A DRYER COMPLETES IT'S DRYING TIME IT WILL GO THROUGH A COOLING DOWN CYCLE,
DRYER WILL START TURNING WITH FAN ON ONLY FOR A FEW SECONDS THEN STOP, AFTER A SHORT PERIOD IT WILL DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN UNTIL UNIT HAS COOLED DOWN, HOPE THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE EXPERIENCING
GOOD LUCK

The "Ad" in the display indicates that the dryer is in the Auto Dry cycle.
The dryer will run in the Auto Dry cycle until the moisture sensor bars detect no more moisture in the garments being dried. The machine will then go into a cool down period and then end the cycle.
If the dryer is getting unusually hot, I recommend checking for a restriction in the air flow. Make sure that your lint screen is properly cleaned before starting every cycle. Check the flexible vent hose behind the dryer for a kink or a restriction. Check the exhaust ducting to the outside of the house for lint build-up or a restriction. This may help the dryer perform properly.
if you have a very large load of clothes in the machine on the dry cycle, what tends to happen is that the clothes are not flapping around in the drum loosely but they are going around the drum in a big mass, with the result that they just get very very hot and steam will escape out the soapbox draw. When this happens, heater unit that becomes overheated ant the thermostats will eventualy cut out resulting in cold air being circulated instead of hot. You will need to have them replaced again. when replaced, put on a drycycle with only a few garments in the machine and you will see a big difference in it perfomance. washer/dryers are not very effective on the drying cycles with a full washload.

Hi. Thanks for using fixya. I can help you. When clothes get marked or torn in your dryer, check these:
RollersYour dryer may use rollers, or wheels, to support the rear of the clothes drum. When these are worn out, they may cause the clothes drum to drop down slightly, which can pinch the clothes between the top of the clothes drum and the rear of the dryer interior. When the rollers wear out, you need to replace the whole set.Rear sealYour dryer may have a felt-like seal at the rear of the drum. If this seal is worn, torn, or missing, clothes can get caught and torn in the space between the clothes drum and the rear of the dryer interior. When the rear seal wears out, you need to replace it.Front glidesYour dryer probably uses nylon or plastic glides at the front of the clothes drum for support. When these are worn out, they may cause the clothes drum to drop down slightly, which can pinch the clothes between the top of the clothes drum and the front of the dryer interior. When the glides wear out, you need to replace them as a set.Front sealMany dryers have a felt-like seal at the front of the drum. If this seal is worn, torn, or missing, the clothes in the dryer may get caught and torn in the space between the clothes drum and the front of the dryer interior. When the seal wears out, you need to replace it.
your mach depending on model and cycle selected has a 3 to 5min "add a garment" feature.that means in the 1st 3-5mins of cycles when add a garment light is lit you may hit pause button once and the mach will stop and unlock door.after add a gament light is off,if u hit pause the cycle the mach will drain water and reset cycle..hope this helps
The most likely cause is a faulty start capacitor. I obtained a new one for $22.00AUD from a local spares shop. You have to remove the back and then the motor mounting plate to get access to it as it is behind the mtr when viewded from the rear I had to remove the long wires from the connector block to attach the replacement directly. You will also need a cable tie to attach it.
Be carefull and make sure the dyer is unplugged as lethal voltages are present.
Good luck
