I swear my wii hates me.one day it will play any game the next nothing

Possible the outlet its plugged into is bad or a blown breaker.Try plugging in something else like a lamp to make sure.
Another problem could be the power supply to the wii is no good.

try checking the router firewall settings, and lowering/disabling them

dead disc? or disc reader? also why woulf turning the tv off help? did the wii overheat? or anything strange?

The game or the Wii is not good programmed, bring the game back, or let the Wii being repaired by nintendo (ONLY NINTENDO!).

okay i know that this will not awnser ur question but the wii is mainly only going to have motion games the only one that i can think of that dosent is super smash bros. and all the regular gamecube games. and also most people like the motion stuff.

The game was released with a number of serious glitches. It's the publisher's fault, not yours. You can try to get the retailer to refund your money, but you will probably have to go to the publisher (2K Sports) to get your money back, and it probably won't be easy.

make sure the cords r not bad

The disk slot comes on briefly when:
-You turn the power on
-You put a disk in or take one out

And it pulses when you have a new message on your Wii message board. It does not stay lit while the Wii is on.

your sensor bar might be unplugged or you have a low battery
