My bluetooth radio is disabled - Fujitsu (S26391-F2494-L100) Bluetooth Wireless Adapter

Try disable bluetooth and switch off for 5 mins and then back on and enable bluetooth.

To disable the Bluetooth link
Press and HOLD the Bluetooth button on the microphone until you hear a double-beep. You
may hear 1 or 2 single beeps, just keep holding the button until you hear a double-beep. The
Bluetooth light on the CB should remain dark.

To re-enable the Bluetooth link
Press and HOLD the Bluetooth button on the microphone until you hear a single beep. The
Bluetooth light on the CB should blink every 10 seconds.

I had this same problem; here's what I think is happening. You have several bluetooth "profiles" on your phone; one of which allows for music streaming (A2DP) through BT. If this profile is enabled on your phone, then the radio "senses" that you've got a new source hooked up, that being your phone's music player. It's similar to if you're listening to the radio on the CX609 and then plug in your iPod--the radio senses a new source and swaps to it. If you disable the A2DP profile (assuming you don't use your phone for streaming music through your CX-609), and only leave the headset and/or handsfree profiles active, the radio WILL NOT switch to bluetooth mode. I did this on my Blackberry Tour and I now can enjoy my radio much more than when I had to swap back to the radio 30 seconds after I turned the key. Hope this helps!!!

You can turn on/off the Bluetooth function, right-click the icon in the system tray and select Disable Bluetooth Radio.

Hi. Check first if the bluetooth driver is installed in the system. You can fo to control panel and click system, then go to device maanger then search the devices under bluetooth. If bluetooth is installed then all you need to do is to press Fn key + F5.

If it doesn't show in device manager than it doesn't have a driver, you will have to reinstall, go to the link below, download and install, ALL, the correct files for your version BT, Bluetooth files there, that should fix it.

According to the laptop's quick guide this is how you enable and disable your wireless:

Radio components: Wireless LAN/ Bluetooth/UMTS

The installation of a wireless LAN module not approved by Fujitsu
Siemens Computers GmbH voids the permits issued for this device
(see chapter "Technical data", Page 22).

Depending on the device variant, wireless LAN, Bluetooth and/or UMTS may be integrated in your notebook.

On delivery, WLAN components are switched on, Bluetooth components off.

Switching the radio components on and off
Start the WirelessSelector using the key combination Fn + F1 .
The WirelessSelector enables you to switch the radio components activated in
BIOS Setup on and off individually.

Press the key combination Fn + F1 to start the WirelessSelector.

The radio component indicator will be illuminated when one or more
radio components is switched on.

BIOS Setup allows you to specify which radio components can be switched on
and off using the key combination Fn + F1 .

Only those components that have been activated in BIOS Setup can be switched on and off using the key combination Fn + F1 .

You can also activate and deactivate the radio components individually in the BIOS Setup. You must have assigned the supervisor password in order for this function to be available.

first try to check in the program files if you have bluetooth installed.
start >> programs >>bluetooth >> bluetooth settings
look for the menu were you can activate the bluetooth.

also you can try. looking in the system tray icons. you will see the blueetooth icon in color red when it is disabled...right click on the icon and choose enable bluetooth radio.
