Obviously its damaged you will need to take it back to shop, see if you cam get a replacement or you could find a gaming repair shop or even a console doctors hotline, the circuitry could be damaged, but see if you can get a replacement at the shop

Hi, unfortunately my Wii fell onto the carpet last

i think that the laser inside the disk drive has skipped

lets say the laser moves from a to b (a is the start)(b is the end)

the laser might of jumped to b but the console still thinks it is at a and it keeps trying to move it towards b but it cant go any further because the laser tracks stop

you could open the console up and test the drive or replace the disk drive

Disc will not eject

There's probably only something jammed in the DVD drive... last one of these I fixed had a penny that my friend's daughter tried to stuff into the system. Once we opened up the Wii, the penny fell out and everything worked great. If there's nothing jammed in the drive, there may be gears or something in there broken. The following website has the full DVD drive... but I would try opening up the Wii first to see if something is jammed in there:

Wii console fell and now it wont eject the disc

sometime on consoles there is a small pin like hole next to the drive. a paper clip inserted into this and jiggled around might free the disc to open. works on computers might work for you. but if it fell looks like its f**ked

Wont eject game disc

From a previous FixYa member:

"I managed to eject a WII disc out manually very easily:
- Disconnect the drive
- You see the white plastic mechanism on your right side and the wheel connected to the motor
- turn the wheel towards the back side of the drive while pushing the half inch square plastic piece towards the left.
You will see the disc coming out while you are turning the wheel."

Wii My Wii powers off everytime I put in a game disc

I had the same situation. I solved it by making sure the grey power cord for the wii was plugged in right and that it was plugged into a transformer. In the end the problem was that the wii was just not getting enough power. It doesn't exactly explain why the wii turned off every time I put a game in but at least I got the wii to work.

Wii console cannot read disc

1) Is the disc inserted correctly, have you tried it both ways?
2) Is the disc a Wii game disc or Gamecube disc
3) Some newer dual layer discs of Wii games, such as Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Mario Kart Wii have had some issues being read by older Wii's with dirty optics, you may have to contact Nintendo for support if that is the case, though some have tried to clean it with a laser head cleaner, not sure how effective that is.

Hope those help

Wii will do everything but it won't play games.....

I had the same problem. No new games would play but the old games played fine. I clicked on the spinning disc icon (where the game should come up) and it prompted me to do an update. I accepted. Once the update was complete (took about a minute or 2) the new games worked fine.

Wii wont take in CD!

sounds like slot disc loading mechanism gearing is misaligned.. Slot drives are difficult to fiddle with, I suggest you try to get this repaired under warranty, (don't mention that you dropped it though, just say it stopped working)
