I have a 60 inch tv and i have white dots on the screen

that is what we call dead pixel, you can remove this by following the steps below.
  1. Turn off your tv.
  2. Get yourself a damp cloth, so that you don't scratch your screen.
  3. Apply pressure to the area where the dead pixel is. Do not put pressure anywhere else, as this may make more dead pixels.
  4. While applying pressure, turn on your tv screen.
  5. Remove pressure and the dead pixel should be gone. This works as the liquid in the liquid crystal has not spread into each little pixel. This liquid is used with the backlight on your monitor, allowing different amounts of light through which give off different colours.
    Hope this helps.

ABS light on dash is coming on

The easiest thing you can do to see if the light will go off is to open the hod and check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder. If that doesn't take care of the abs light then it's time to take the vehicle down to a auto shop and see what code they can pull from the abs module itself. Also have them do a brake inspection while they're at it.A brake inspection should be free. However, to scan the module they might charge somewhere between $50-$90.Get back to me with any questions.I'm here to help..

2006 Chevy Cobalt, front end noise

Hello. Thank you for choosing fixya. It is definitely time to get your car back to the shop and up in a lift. Check the front end suspension, the u joint and the tires. If your usual shop can't find the culprit try another shop because I don't want you to break down on the side of the highway. good luck. Regards, J.

click on the operating instructions link as this is a PDF version of the manual that came with the television. look at pages 13 - 16. this will help you replace the lamp. as a side note, yes you do have to pull on the front cover. don't be intimidated as it will come off with a little applied pressure.

I have a 50 inch hitachi ultravision that has no picture or sound but power light is on

Probably a 'cold or detatched' solder joint on a component on that perticular circuit board you are 'wedging' with a plastic rod.

When I plug the television it makes squeeky sound and it doesn't turn on

Sounds like issue with high voltage circuit, usually not worth getting repaired especially with digital tv conversion happening next year

Want to hook up a ps2 to a xdvd700 and dont know if it is possible

All you need to do is go to radio shack and buy yourself a 12 volt or above momentary push button/switch (about $3) If the button swith/button comes with wires then just connect one end to the emergency brake wire from the radio and then connect the other wire from the switch to a ground to your car. You can use the same ground connection that you used for the radio and it will be fine. make sure you wrap up the wires to prevent shorts.
Also make sure that the switch that you buy can be mounted because you will need to use it every time you want to use the dvd1.gif.( you might need to drill a small hole for the switch depending on what you buy)Make sure you have enough wire so you can mount it where you can easily use it like under your steering wheel.
When you are ready to use the dvd put the dvd in the player and after a few seconds the screen will turn blue and the message to "Set the emergency brake" will come on. Now just press the switch/button for one second and release it. The screen takes about 6 second to display the video1.gif. If it does not work then try again but this time try to push the button/switch twice. In my truck I only have to do it once and it works fine but you get the idea.

Dark picture

use the advanced options page and reset the factor blue and red convergence defaults then do re apply the auto color defaults color at first it seemed very red (which is good because red was the missing factor in the green picture) but after reseting all the color and tints to the normal ranges I then reset the color auto correct again and all seems fine.
