My phone displays a message no network coverage what does this mean

Hi,
'Emergency Calls Only' message comes when there is no network coverage by the service provider. So when you get this message, try selecting your network from AUTOMATIC to MANUAL. Switch off your phone and see if you are getting some network. If still there is no network and same message appears then it means, you are at a place where the network strength of your service provider is poor. Try going to a place where the network strength is good.

This means that where you currently are, your phone cannot reach a network. In certain places, the signals the mobile phone companies use to connect to your phone are too weak. When this happens, your phone will display this message. So if people try to call you or send a message, they won't get through to you and vice-versa. You can try to change this by changing where you are, or if this is not convenient due to the fact that you get no signal at home or work, try changing to a different network. Bear in mind also, that phone networks occasionally fail for short periods of time while maintenance is being carried out. So it could be remedied simply by waiting a day or two. we solved our "no network coverage" message by restoring factory defaults. This was done after putting in another SIM card with same fault displayed.

If your mobile is showing emergency only it means that there is no network coverage in your mobile.

the phone can really be locked
the antenna may be damaged
any time a phone is programmed to more networks from experience with a sony i realized the service signal drops badly!!this may not be a solution but i tried to help!!

I bought a new battery for mine, and it worked, i was able to make and receive calls, but for me my texts wont send, still trying to figure that part out.

i had no display on my nokia 3230 cellular phone. now its ok but it has no network coverage/no signal . plz help me..... .

Try setting your handset to manual network selection and select the network for your connction provider. If you don't roam around much, this works well. Please revert back to the automatic network selection if you go on Roaming.

3120 it is haradware problem most of 3120 & 3100 network gone is not coming but u can change atena swich & pf & clean network point
