I use my LG DR787T DVD Recorder to record episodes of TV programs, so that I can watch them when I have time, and not take up space on my DVR. After recording a one hour episode, it usually lets me record another, and another, after shutting off after each recording. When I had 4 tv shows recorded, I would then finalize the dvd, and take it to my computer to convert it so that I could watch it on my ZUNE. Now, after recording one episode and shutting off, I try to record another program, and it says that I have "NO DISK." Is there any solutions to this problem. I'm using the same brand of dvds that I've always used, but nothing seems to work.
Try inserting your DVD media into the PC and doing a 'quick format'. The LG is not seeing what it considers to be media that it can use. It is not seeing that you have inserted recordable media. Sometimes you can reformat the DVD or do a quick media erase, and the LG can then put on its blank "squares" that is uses for its menu selection. I think that it what it does when it 'initializes' a new media. tom
