My LG envy touch keeps redialing the most

My LG envy touch keeps redialing (about every 3 seconds) the most recent number in my recent calls list. The only way to stop it is to turn the phone off. It will even try doing it when the phone is locked. Any suggestions on how to fix this probblem would be appreciated.

Uniden cordless phone caller id quit working

Using the Caller ID and Redial Lists
Caller ID (CID) is a service available from your telephone provider that shows the phone number (and sometimes the caller's name) of incoming calls. Contact your telephone provider for more information.
Caller ID list

Redial list

When a call comes in, the phone displays the number and name (if available) of the caller.
The phone saves the information for the last 30 received calls to the

CID list.
When it's in standby, the handset shows how many calls came in since the last time you checked the CID list.

Each handset remembers the last 5 numbers you dialed on it. The redial list is separate for each handset.

Needs to reprogram fax machine, has old fax numbers in

1. Press Menu/Set, 2, 3, 1.
2. Press the One Touch key where you want to store a number.
The LCD shows the location you selected.
3. Enter a number (up to 20 digits), and then press Menu/Set. If you want to enter a pause in the dialing sequence (for example, to wait for an "outside line"), press Redial/Pause as you're entering digits. A dash appears on the LCD. Pressing Redial/Pause enters a 3.5 second pause when the number is dialed.
4. Use the dial pad to then enter the name (up to 15 characters), and then press Menu/Set. You can use the chart on page 4-2 to help you enter letters-OR-To store the number without a name, press Menu/Set.
5. Return to Step 2 to store another One Touch number-OR-Press Stop/Exit.
When you dial an auto dial number, the LCD shows the name you've stored, or, if you haven't stored a name, the number you've stored.
If you loose electrical power, auto dial numbers in memory will not be lost.
(For USA Only) One-Touch key 1 has been pre-programmed for the Brother faxback system. One-Touch key 2 has been pre-programmed for the CallManage long distance plan. You can override them if you wish.
Note If you need to store a pause longer than 3.5 seconds, press Redial/Pause two or more times.
Note - You can store Groups (for Broadcasting) on the One Touch keys.

Automatic redial malfunction

It's been a long time since I have used Panasonic analog phones, but the redial function in them used to be mechanical. It dialed 15 times with a 45 second pause between attempts. The key was, it expected you to pick up the handset, cancelling the redial if you got an answer.
If you got an answer and didn't do anything, it hung up and redialed again until you picked up the handset!

Could that be what your system is doing?

Carl
