Nope..where did you get the acer from? Go there, and get a system recovery disk.

I have an Acer Aspire 5733z-4851.....when I turn it on it starts up then goes to a screen saying "SETUP IS STARTING SERVICES"....after a few moments an "INSTALL WINDOWS" box pops up. The box says" WINDOWS...

Factory reset on acer aspire 5733z-4851 without reset disc. ALT+F10 keys at boot will start Acer recovery process. if this keys combo doesn't work, enter BIOS pressing F2 at boot and check if D2D is disabled, enable it then press F10, save and exit.

The following might later prove of value:

Product support

Then there is a process of booting from a USB stick. But you need an iso file of Windows 7. Microsoft Recovery Center likes retail versions with keys but not OEM versions.

Just something you might need to take a look at.

My netbook is asking me to reboot with disc but i do not have a disc and it did not come with one

Hello, Try this.
Press ALT+F10 before windows loading it should prompt you with the recovery steps. If that doesn't work, go with this.

Drivers for Acer products may be found on the Acer support site.
Search for the product and download the drivers.

http://us.acer.com/...

Alternatively, the factory installed drivers and applications can be re-installed by using Acer eRecovery.
Follow these steps:
Click Start and then All Programs
Click Acer and then Acer eRecovery Management
You may be prompted to enter or create a password. This password will be required to use eRecovery in the future.
In the next window, select Restore or Recovery. This will vary from system to system.
Choose Reinstall Drivers or Applications
Choose Contents
Choose the driver or application you wish to install
On the right, click the install link and follow the prompts.
The system may restart when installation is complete. If it does not restart, manually shutdown and restart the computer.

How to install acer software without a cd. Iost the cd and now I cannot restore the system of my laptop.Pls.help.

You can try acer.com to get your System Restore CD and Device Drivers. You will most likely have to order the restore disc. This usually doesn't cost more than $50. You could also try finding someone who has a Windows installation disc of the same version you have in your computer. Install Windows from that disc and use the product key on the sticker that's on your computer when prompted for it by the installation disc program. Be sure to activate Windows once the installation is completed. It's not necessary to Register it though.

Forced to Shutdown on boot-up. Messed by wrong usage of Combofix

Drivers for Acer products may be found on the Acer support page ( http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/ ). Search for the product and download the drivers. Alternatively, the factory installed drivers and applications can be re-installed by using Acer eRecovery.
Follow these steps:
  1. Press ALT and F10 to start Acer eRecovery.
Please note: It will be prompt to enter or create a password. This password will be required to use eRecovery in the future. Forgetting this password will require the use of the recovery discs to reformat the system.
  2. In the next window, select Restore or Recovery. This will vary from system to system.
  3. Choose Reinstall Applications/Drivers
  4. Choose Install
  5. Click on Windows on the left side of the page.
  6. Choose driver or applications.
  7. Choose the item to install
  8. On the right, click the install link and follow the prompts.
  9. The system may restart when installation is complete. If it does not restart, manually shutdown and restart the computer.
If a set of recovery discs was created, or received when the system was purchased, the factory installed drivers and applications may be reinstalled from that media as well. Start the computer and insert the System CD (or the first disc) and browse the disc and choose which item to install.
