Motherboard might not be able to recognize ram. Try old ram first. Depending on the beep, they typically mean that there is no/bad ram or no/bad video card.

System not booting after ram upgrade

Sometimes it passes a poorly designed ram test, probably faulty ram, speeds always default to the slower of a pair. Some computers need all slots full. Did you buy it new? We have Re-PC for used components in the Seattle area, a great resource.

Why does memory upgrade for biostar k8m800-mam2 motherboard cause memory error beeps?

I would verify that the memory you're using is actually working properly.
Try to boot to the new stick and see if it works.
If not, it doesn't work.
If it does, you may need to replace the original stick with the same stick that you are trying to use now.

The three beeps tells you that something inside the system is not properly installed. Check all hardware installations and position properly all hardware not properly installed. If nothing is improperly installed, try cleaning the RAM with a piece of clean cloth and install properly.

1.Suggest me the type of ram which is supported Foxconn 8657MF-series. 2.When i installs DDR400 RAM of 256MB it gives continuous beep(bee-bee-bee) sound. 3.What are the beep codes of Foxconn...

the beep sound on system starting before booting starts refers no RAM in system, if you need to upgrade your RAM then go for DDR-SDRAM PC3200 200MHz 512MB 0r 1GB.

Upgrading CPU

Probably nothing. If your system works, I would not concern myself greatly with this small detail. The system indicates a 3.4 GHz cpu installed. Your software may misidentify some of the features of your Prescott.

Hello, i have had frequent problems with

MOSTLY BEEPING INDICATES THAT YOU HAVE RAM PROBLEM, TRY TO CHANGE YOUR MEMORY RAM WITH SAME TYPE..EVEN SOMTIMES SYSTEM WILL BE OK, IF PART OF RAM IS DAMAGED, IT WILL DO THE SAME PROBLEM...OR THE OTHER WAY, IF YOUR SYSTEM COMES ON , TRY TO GO TO THE SYSTEM INFORMATION AND CHECK YOUR TOTAL RAM GIVEN, IF IT IS LOWER THEN THE CORRECT AMOUNT INSTALLED, CHANGE IT....BUT TRY TO REPLACE YOUR RAM...

Power to everything but CPU fan and case fan - won't boot

Hi this is tech crazy

The solution to the problem is as follows

The main reason for CPU fan overworking or not working is due to the load we put on the syatem while operating. So,the first reason for fan not working may be due to the SMPS malfunctionality.Better check out for it.The reason if fan is working but Overworking is due to viruses is system. So go in for format

Hope this solution helps you

Please do rate me on the above said solution

Boots, no video signal.

First try removing the memory you installed and see if it boots normally. If that does not work then try replacing the original memory with the new memory.
If the motherboard beeps at you then look up the beep code pattern in the owner's manual. If you do not get any beeps and no video output at all then it is possible the motherboard or processor was shocked. You can try testing the motherboard with another compatible processor. If that does not work then it is likely the motherboard is bad.

Hope this helps!
