Sreen problem hi im christ , i have an acer 5542g 8 months, and sometimes when im browsing the screen goes blank ,i dont know what happenned.. please help me

Check your sync or Display setting. Your Hz might be too high/low.

how to go into the setup of aspire 5542g???

It may be just the power saving settings. Click on the battery icon and change the screen blank times.

This must surely be a problem with your monitor, because you say that you see the white screen while boot up. If this is a graphic driver issue, you may have the problem after booting up in windows. Since its been only a month old laptop, the product must be in warranty for sure. Take away any CDs in the drive, any USB drives and see if this white screen appears. Let us know.

its broke lol its mostlikely the sreen itself
just go andf replace the screen

the problem is the flex cable .it cost about 12 euros but you have to take it to authorized technical center or to a technician

you need to take the phone and ahve the lcd replaced

There might be a problem with your dvd lense of your dvd burner,sometimes it happen when the burner software dont recognise cd or dvd..also i would like to suggest you to use original burner software for burning cd dvd's...sometimes it also happen that the burning software dont burn certain types of audio or video files.for eg nero 6 dont convert .vob files to convert.

take this to your provider to have fixed the sceern has broke in either a cable losse or a crack but thell fix it.
