Question about RCA L37WD12 37 in. LCD HDTV
I've just read several comments regarding this company's product. I too purchased (not one but two) Protron televisions from Shop NBC and the extended warranty. I have called several times and been told to reset the television. I would turn it off and wait a few moments and then the sound would return but now I have no sound on either televsion. I have a lovely picture but no sound. I am wonder about a label on the back that says it is analog and may have not be compatible with digitable signals.
Does this mean that I need some type of equipment because it's connected to my cable box? Could that be the problem or am I just screwed? I can't get any where with customer service either. I haven't even been offered to mail the sets back. I had them both for less than two years.
The TVs sound would not just not quit working because it is not digital. I have a TV from 1985 that still can be connected to a cable box. What I would do is get a few RCA cables and connect the satallite to the TV with the RCA cables if that does not work try hooking it up with a cable cord, if that does not work i have no idea to help you.
