Question about Computers & Internet
Unfortunately, you will probably have to open up the laptop, and check the seating of the cables inside both the base and the LCD. It sounds like a loose connection, or a broken wire. I had similar issues with a Dell laptop, and it turned out to be a wire going to the ccfl tube (The backlight) that was shorting out against the case of the laptop when moved. Also, just try to re-seat the connections, it sounds like you have already had it apart. The cables should come off easily, and go back on with ease too, but do not attempt if you are not experienced, or at least comfortable with this type of thing.
