Washer Model FAV6800AWW
Try inserting a putty knife perhaps 3 or 4 inches in from either side, bewtwewn the gaps wherew the main top meets the front panel, there are relaese tabs that when depressed the top will lift up, theres then 2 5/16 sdcrees attaching hte front panel to machine. there should also be a service manula taped inside there as well

Make sure that you use a plastic (1" -1.5") putty knife!

Most washing machines have two little tabs at the base of the machine where the front panel meets the adjusting legs. Push down with your thumb ( or putty knife) and then pull the front panel towards you. It then should unclip. Do this on both sides. Pull the front panel out @ a 45 Degree angle and it should then just drop out.

Their are screws between the washer and dryer. Undo those and the screws inside the dryer, next too and below the lint trap.
