How to clean lenses of night vison

Cleaning the lenses of night vision devices requires some care and attention to avoid damaging the delicate components of the device. Here are some steps to clean the lenses of a night vision device:
  1. Use a blower brush: Use a blower brush or a can of compressed air to blow away any loose dust or debris on the surface of the lens. This will prevent scratching the lens when you wipe it later.
  2. Use a microfiber cloth: Use a microfiber cloth specifically designed for cleaning lenses to gently wipe the lens in a circular motion, starting from the center and working outward. Be careful not to apply too much pressure, as this can damage the lens coating.
  3. Use lens cleaning solution: If the lens is still dirty, you can use a small amount of lens cleaning solution. Apply the solution to the microfiber cloth, not directly on the lens. Wipe the lens gently, and then use a dry part of the cloth to remove any excess moisture.
  4. Repeat if necessary: If there are still spots or dirt on the lens, repeat the cleaning process until the lens is clean.
To remove dark lines on the lens of a night vision device, you can try the following steps:
  1. Use lens cleaning solution: If the dark lines are caused by dirt or debris, you can try using a small amount of lens cleaning solution and follow the cleaning steps mentioned above.
  2. Use a lens pen: If the dark lines are caused by smudges or fingerprints, you can try using a lens pen specifically designed for cleaning lenses. These pens have a soft brush on one end for removing loose debris and a microfiber tip on the other end for wiping away smudges.
  3. Contact the manufacturer: If the dark lines persist or if they are caused by a defect in the lens, you may need to contact the manufacturer for assistance or repair.
It's important to note that cleaning night vision lenses can be tricky and it's best to follow the manufacturer's instructions or consult a professional if you're not sure about how to clean them. Also, avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that can damage the lenses.

How do you remove the headlight lense cover on a 2001 Century to be able to clean the inside surface?

You cannot remove the lense. it is factory sealed. only access inside is by removing bulb from rear of the lamp assembly. Your problem is probably a degraded hazy lense and not the inside. have lenses cleaned by a detailer or shop that can do a lense restoration.
Good luck

HOW TO REMOVE FUNGES IN LENCESS.

Fungus is difficult, if not impossible, to remove from lenses. It'd require total disassembly of the lense by an experienced tech, cleaning, cleaning of the barrel, possible re-grinding of the element cleaned, re-cementing of the elements, re-aligning of the elements, etc. It's a time consuming, demanding, and technially requiring job, as well as a very expensive job. Unless it's a VERY rare and expensive lense, it's pointless to undertake. Fungus does not, or 99% of the time doesn't, form on the outer lens surface (though it appears that's where it is), it's actually inside the lense.

I got my pentax k2 camera lens cleaned for it has got fungus. Now the lens has been completely ruined and I am not being able to use the camera at all. Could anybody tell me where can I get lens for the...

Cleaning a lense for fungus is an iffy if not impossible procedure most of the time as the fungus attacks the material of the lense itself and parts of the lense have to be removed to remove the fungus.

But, the good news is any dealer of new or used equipment will have K-mount lenses. You can find both new and used lenses from B&H, KEH, Adorama, Calumet, and others - though those are some of the most reputable online/mail-order dealers of used and new equipment. You can find almost any kind of lense you'd desire.

I have a shadow on the screen in the bottom right hand corner what could the problem possibly be.

It sounds like something has fallen or crawled into your tv. Unplug unit and remove the panel on the rear bottom. Now remove the upper part of the rear cabinet if you cannot see the problem. You will probably find something on the lense blocking the light. This would be a good time to clean the lenses. Using a soft cloth and windex, spray the cloth then gently clean each lense using a circular motion. Do not wipe until dry as you may scratch the lense. Do not spray the lense as you will cover critical components with corrosive cleaner. Do not push hard or disturb any lense adjustments. Reassemble unit and your tv should look as good as new. Let me know how this works out. [email protected] .

How to clean the laser

The laser it's self isn't what you want to clean - it's the lense. I recommend purchasing a CD laser lense cleaning kit from Best Buy. Usually the cleaner looks like any other disk, but it has a small cleaning cloth on it. You load the disk into the machine as you would any CD and the CD player tracks the laser and reader assembley to the position where the small piece of cloth is. As the cloth passes, it wipes the lense clean.
If you must clean the lense manually, I suggest using a Q-Tip and some isopropal rubbing alcohol. Dip the Q-Tip into the isopropal alcohol, and then press the swab of the C-Tip against the inside of the alcohol bottle to remove any excess alcohol from the Q-Tip so you don't have excess alcohol drip down into the laser assembley. CAREFULLY, GENTLY wipe the lense with the Q-Tip, using circular motion. After about 15 - 20 passes with the wet end of the Q-Tip, turn the Q-Tip around and wipe the lense with the dry clean end of the Q-Tip to remove any excess alcolhol and to prevent any residue that may accumulate as a result of the alcolhol drying. Again I stress being gentle because the lense rides in a magnetic field as part of it's focusing function and if you press the lense down too hard, you will damage the focusing coils and the unit will no longer be able to focus onto the disk and won't be able to read anything. Just be gentle, and good luck.

Cleaning lenses/lamps on mitsubishi VS-60805

A can of compressed air might do the trick. If dirt is stuch, I'd suggest useing the same chemicals/cloths/etc you would use for cleaning camera lenses. Check at your local photo store.

Just make sure the lenses aren't hot when you apply cold and/or flamable chemicals.
