I have a stirling washing machine xqb90-701clps and the machine has come up with an E4 error code.. cannot find my manual. what does that code mean?

It is the door error, either not close door or the door sensor switch faulty. Open the top panel , you can see the sensor. My washer is the sensor rusted. After I use sandpaper to clean the touch of the sensor switch, it works fine now.

Error code..how resolve

look in your manual if you have it. also there should be a schematic inside the washer probably with the codes in it. this is mainly sold in Australia so I dont have a way to know.

A code of E4 means that there is to much suds or the pump is blocked. use less detergent and get detergent with he in the title. turn to off and try to restart the drain to correct problem.
