This is a rear projection (Mitsubishi VS4551A)...I see no leakage and all the fuses seem ok. The only problem I've ever had with this TV was that the fuse closest to the power inlet blew out, I replaced it and it worked fine...that was probably 7-9 years ago.

Un plug the set and use a flashlight and look for evidence of the CRts leaking on the chassis this is a common fault with that model. It will cause a dead set.

ok the next thing to do is check the low voltage regulators and the horizontal output. thats usually the first thing that i try. Also have you tried pushing in the menu and input buttons on the set in together and hold them in for 8 secondes to see if the LED will blink an error code? Also do you have a service manual for your set?

My mitsubishi 55" will not turn on... when I press

Hi:

The most common failure for this model is the deflection board assembly or commonly known as a Large Signal board. The unit is going into shutdown, mode because no high voltage. Unless you are strongly electronically inclined I suggest you try to replace the deflection board.

Mitsubishi VS45607 tv

Brief an d to the source. A high voltage speed switch is bad and we will cross reference it with an NTE 2361. But this is only the start. You can crossreference all of the transistors. Q531,Q532,Q533 Q530 , Q5ADO [Horizontal output transistor] and Q5A02 Looks like Q502 on board [also i think this is also an horizontal output transistor. Then by all means change the following capsC541, C551, C531, C562, C534, C402, an d C933 . It will take some time to do this, be patient my friend. Your Mishis will return!

Mitsubishi VS-6041 60 in. doesn't power up

Hello Tremulant

This denotes a possible problem with the Low or high voltage power supplies. The clicking you here might be the shutdown circuit acting because of excessive draw of current. The problem will most likely be associated with the HV power supply, but you will have to have a qualified TV technician check your TV to make sure.

I hope this helps,

Thank you,

This denotes a problem in the HV power supply and the shutdown circuit shutting down the Tv to prevent damage from a component that is drawing too much current. I would suggest that you have a repair person look at your TV and give you an estimate.
