I have acer aspire 4720.. From few days my webcam is not working properly.. When i click on the icon then the camera didn't work. And when i click on the usb video then it blinks the message that the image preview is not available.

best is to reload the updated drivers for the Webcam

you can try updating driver for web camera and try to use in safemode and check , if it works in safemode it could be an issue with some virus and firewall settings

If u use vista, try to click right at volume icon at your bottom right screen.choose sound and then choose recording tab...at microphone icon, double click and choose enable at device usage....hope this will help.. = )

check whether u've installed the cam driver properly.

if so..then plz go to C:\Program files\ .... there u'll find the name of icon same to that of ur driver's name..

go into that folder, right click on webcam icon. then 'send to'..in that as " shortcut to desktop", then u'll find the Icon on ur desktop...!!

You need to reload the driver for the camera then. Go to www.acer.com to do this.
