All of the email setting have been checked and double checked by my internet service provider. I have Verizon and I can send & receive from my verizon mail box but can't send from outtlook.

I don't have a server or internet connection problem and they are still uable to help me.

This is the error message I get when I try to send email w/outlook:

Task 'incoming.yahoo.verizon.net- Sending' reporting error (0x800CC0F): the connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: 553

Probably your settings or configurations for Outlook is not properly set.

Refer to these sites for conguration settings using M/S outlook.
1. Configure outlook anywhere(MS Office 2010) @ http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc179036.aspx

Microsoft Outlook

If you attempt to send a message that is too large for your mail server you may be unable to delete it from the Outbox.

First, try setting Outlook offline using the File, Offline menu. Wait about a minute or so or close Outlook and reopen.
If you are unable to delete the message while in offline mode or cannot go into offline mode, you'll need to change your default delivery location.

  1. Add a new PST using the File, New, Outlook Data File menu.
  2. Open the Email Accounts dialog on the Tools menu.
  3. Select view or Change existing email accounts and click Next.
  4. Select the new personal folders file from the Deliver new email to the following location list.
  5. Click Finish and restart Outlook.
  6. Show the folder list, using Ctrl+6 if necessary, and find the old Outbox. Delete the message.
  7. Repeat steps 2, 3, 4, and 5 to restore the original pst as the default delivery location.
  8. Show the folder list and move any new messages from the new pst to the original pst.
  9. Right click on the new folder's name and Choose Close to remove it from your profile.

How can we use the outlook express 6 to check

Open Microsoft Outlook and from the "Tools" menu select "Email Accounts." The email account wizard will pop up.
Choose "Add a new email account" from the list of options and click the "Next" button. Then, select "HTTP" and hit "Next" again. Now you are ready to input information about your Hotmail account.
Select "Hotmail" from the drop down menu at the right. Enter the name that you want to associate with this account in the "Your Name" field. This is the name that appears when you send someone an email from Outlook.
Input your Hotmail email address in the "Email Address" field. Your user name will automatically be filled in when you do this.
Provide the password to your Hotmail account in the "Password" field. Put a check mark in the check box below if you would like for Outlook to remember your password. This will save you from having to enter your password every time you download your Hotmail email with Outlook.
Hit the "Finish" button to complete the setup of your Hotmail account. Now, when you select "Send and Receive" Outlook will synchronize with Outlook. Too see your Hotmail email, select "Inbox in Hotmail" from your list of mail folders.

I can't send or receive emails from my Microsoft Outlook 2003...and all my data has been erased?? It says that I can't connect to my server, how can I fix this?

Two possible problems here:
  1. Either your internet provider is having email server issues or
  2. Somehow your server settings in your email have changed
If you post back with your internet provider, it will help to diagnose your problem further.

I use microsoft outlook 2003 and two weeks after the emails were sent to me, I just received them. Can you please tell me why the long delay. Thanks!

The problem may be on your ISP's side. I would ask them to verify your account. Also, can you receive emails immediatley if you click on the send/receive icon in Outlook 2003?

Another area to check is the options settings for checking email. I have outlook 2007 but it's either the same or similar.

click on tools then options then Mail Setup.
click on the Send/receive button and verify that the "Schedule an automatic send/receive every (X) box is checked. The x is typically 30 minutes.

If you change this be sure to click Apply or OK to accept the change.

Microsoft outlook problem.

Well, it depends on the version of MS Office you are using....and to create an outlook express account, you need to have a .NET account for microsoft and you can sign up for this using your OS itself...try doing this and you should be able to use MS outlook express.

What i can recommend, is that you remove Microsoft Outlook and re-install it. You already lost your stuff, so take a chance with it.... Do you have a Office CD, that would make things so easy.
