One for all code needed

I have a SV2000 DVD Recorder/VHS and I am in need of the code to be able to use the One for all remote control. Can someone help please? The remote that came with the item works when it wants to.

    Hi Ekse:

I have the Cinema 7 One for All, URC-7800B00

    Thank you, Karen

  • Rottie95 Apr 27, 2008

It won't work using either steps. Any other advice?

    Thanks

I was told elsewhere that my device is made by Funai and that ONE FOR ALL URC10820 10-DEVICE UPGRADABLE LEARNING REMOTE will work with my device.

Thank you for trying. Have a great day

You can find the device codes from here

    http://www.hifi-remote.com/ofa/codes-vcr...

Since I'm not sure which brand your device is I cant give you a strate ansver.

If none of the codes work then we have two other solutions:

    1. Searching For Your Code

If you have tried all of the set-up codes for your brand of equipment ,or your brand is not listed, and you are still not able to get the unit to respond, try the following procedure to search for your code.

If you don't find a code that works, the remote will flash four times when you reach the end of all the codes for this device type.

    1. PRESS the button for the device you want to program, (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.), then RELEASE.
    2. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.
    3. ENTER 9-9-1 (two blinks on the remote)
    4. ALTERNATE slowly between the POWER key and the DEVICE (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.) button until your device turns off. (On VCR, LD, and CD players use PLAY instead of POWER)
Make sure that the remote is pointed at your device during the search, You may have to press this sequences of buttons up to 100 times to search the entire library of codes.
    5. When your device turns OFF, PRESS the SETUP button and RELEASE it to lock in the code for your device.

    2. Learn the buttons from the original

Line up your original remote and the head-to-head before completing the following steps.

    1. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice.
    2. PRESS 9 - 7 - 5, the red LED will flash twice.
    3. PRESS the DEVICE key where you wish to learn the function.
The next 3 steps must be completed within 10 seconds.

    4. PRESS the button that will receive the learned function, the LED will flash radidly.
    5. PRESS the button on the original remote to be learned.

Now you can repeat steps 3 through 5 to learn other functions onto other keys or press and hold SETUP until the Cinema's red light flashes twice to lock in your new feature. (If the red light does not blink twice, stop and repeat steps through 6).

To test the new feature, press and release the device key in which the new feature was learned followed by the key on which the feature was learned

More help for programing your remote can be found here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/manuals/ofa-l...

If you need more assistance let me know.

note: If your remote uses 3 digit setup codes, just drop the leading zero, your remote won't have codes greater than 1000 so don't worry about those codes.

What is the brand of your device? Samsung? Philips?

Ok, good luck. if you need anything else, let us know.

the first thing I'd do is check the packing list to see if it was suppose to have one and wheather it did or didn't; I'd go back where I bought it and ask them.but you can always buy universal remotes at just about any electronic stores or better yet online

IS THERE A CODE TO SET MY FUNIA SV2000 DVD RECORDER TO WORK WITH MY DIRECT TV REMOTE

Remotes are set to the DVD recorder in the REMOTE. It is difficult to control a DVD recorder with a universal remote except for basic functions. The remote manual needs to list the DVD Recorder or a similar Funai model to control it. Try different Funai codes from your remote book. One might work for minimal stop, play, pause, etc.

I believe Viore is the same as Samsung. I only noticed this by accident as I bought a Viore TV and my friend bought a Samsung and I noticed both remotes were identical. I tried the Samsung codes and the remote worked. Good luck! Kevin
