We have a Flavel 100 finesse range style cooker and the left hand side will no longer work (fan assisted oven or grill) however the right hand side works fine along with the 8 gas hob rings, i just wondered if someone could give us an idea how to solve/fix the problem?
I have a Flevel 100 and wish I had checked out all the problems everyone is having first as I would never have bought it...what a waste of money...already replaced the element on it...the ordinary cooker died weeks ago...now the fan one has died leaving me with no means of cooking in an oven...this is going to the nearest dump as soon as I can get to the shop to buy a very cheap standin...Flavel I hope you are ashamed!
If you take off the back pannel (both sides) you will note that there is fuse - little whit circular thing held on with two scres - there will be one for each side. If one side is working, the other not, then try swapping these - if this changes over the side that works then you need to sourse a spare - I am struggeling to source a spare.

Check the power panel on your house for the circuit breaker for the oven. It will be two breakers with their handles joined so idf one trips so will the other. Good idea, but sometimes one will trip but not the other. This allows the 120 volt parts like the fan and oven light to work but the heating element won't work because there is no 240 volts for the element. You can try resetting the breaker, but in my experience replacing the breaker will ultimately fix the problem
Heating element has blown IRCA Type RL6 1800W Remove back panel unscrew 2 screws remove the 3 conected cables open oven door remove 2 screws at rear of oven that holds faceplate in place remove face plate and take old element out and replace with a new element
hi chances are that the internal thermal cutout fuse has gone this fuse is situated on the right hand side of the cooker when you have taken the back plate off about half way down it has two wires attached to it and is screwed with a self tap on the right hand corner of the body of the cooker near the middle of the cooker. You can buy this part and have it delivered for about £6 so is a very cheap fix.
