First you can try going to your settings and selecting phone settings then go to connectivity and then select usb mode click on media player tab. then u need a usb cable plug it in to ur phone and your pc then transfer the songs from your your storage card to your media player then remove storage card and transfer songs from media player to phone they should automatically b sent to your music folder in your audio section of your my stuff folder from there you should be able to select it as a message tone. if that doesnt work you can try one more thing. you can send the vibration feature to your storage card and it should automatically associate your music with the vibrate feature then set your messag tone to vibrate 7 ring and pick a tone to go with

The phone accepts only wma files for message tone. Firstly you have to convert the file to wma then you have to put that on windows folder and you may use that for message tone.

My deleted file is in the sd card.. can the phone memory or whatever storage it has in the phone can recognize the files in the phone memory? -- is the phone memory or any storage of phone can read and...

Usually the SD card is a secondary storage device ... and separate from the (internal) phone memory. To determine / test this, see if your phone still have (some) information when you remove the SD card from the phone... e.g. your telephone contact list, etc.
Yes, you can try to recover the "deleted" file on the SD card using a PC / laptop ... using a data recovery utility/tool (on your PC) to scan the storage space or "undelete" that deleted file..

If your phone can be attached to a PC (e.g. via USB), and if your PC recognizes the "storage" disk on your phone as an "external" disk, you may also be able to use a data recovery utility to scan the storage space or "undelete" that deleted file.

HP I can not live (hang), the possibility of storage memory full, because before I can not send SMS with the information storage is not enough memory

Welcome to FixYa!

To have more storage capacity for your phone, delete unimportant SMS in your INBOX, OUTBOX and SENT ITEMS. Delete also unimportant pictures, videos, music and ringtones. The phone memory is relatively small and is shared to all data and other files that are stored in the phone. By deleting some of these will free you some memory.

Alternatively, you can also put in a Micro SD memory card(Memory Card model depends to what your cell phone is compatible of, Micro SD is a sample) to your phone which will also increase its storage capacity. A Micro SD Card look something like the picture below.

Can the ringtone be changed on a Samsung GT E2550? If so - how?

This can be achieved using a microSD card formatted in the phone. In Settings menu, PC Connections, set the phone to Mass storage. Connect to computer and upload your ringtone file to the music folder.
Go to Menu, My files, Memory card, Music. Select your ringtone and under options select Copy to phone.
Now go to Settings, Profiles, select profile, Options, Edit, Call ringtone, Change, Music, Select your ringtone, then press Back repeatedly until you get back to initial screen.
Worked forme!

Can not change ringtone says 'memory is full delete items' and there is a 2gb sd card with no music on? Also can not recieve songs or photos through bluetooth, says memory full!. samsung f400

try to go on the settings from your inbox or your messages and change it on memory card instead of using phone memory as your message or file storage. the phone is telling you that is FULL because your using phone memory for your inbox storage and not your memory card.

Samsung i900 - insufficient memory when trying to take photo.

The phone has 3 memory's

My device about 90MB which is where everything gets stored by default and because it's the smaller memory it will easily get full.
My storage about 8 GB (handset internal memory)
Storage card about 8GB depending on your contract (Memory card)

You will need to move items from the "My devices" memory to either the "My storage" or " Storage card"
Start
Programs
File explorer
My device
My documents
Tap and hold on a file
Select cut
Go to my storage or storage card which ever desired memory
Tap and hold paste.

Try change default storage for pictures and video.... So that they no longer saved under My devices memory.

Open camera as you about to take a picture tap on the tool icon
tap on the tool
change default storage to my storage or storage card

Also change default storage for files transferred via bluetooth...

Start
Settings
Connections
Bluetooth
Tap on FTP tab
tap on the bar with 3 dots
select desired default storage

Works like a charm!

I can not figure out how to put music onto my Samsung Beat cell phone

go to samsungusa.com Download the samsung PC studio 3. hook the beat to the computer via usb. enter PC studio and select multimedia manager. click on files and select get files. you'll have 3 options. select from PC. search your PC for music and select get file. left click then right click on the file of choice and select to phone. after a while you will see a message that says insufficent storage. you wil then disconnect the phone and go to menu then fun and apps then files then music then the subfolder titled music. choose options and select move to memory card or copy to memory card (optional only if you have one). by the way, if you want to use a music file as a ringtone, copy is what you want, but the song will appear twice on your music list. lather, rinse, repeat.

Memory card

You need to go to your file manager/my documents/my picture. Once there then you can move/copy your pictures to your memory card.
Press "menu" -> "file" -> copy/move to. It will then allow you to select the folder you want your pictures to be moved to. Move to "Storage Card" and click 'done. That should move/copy your pictures.
Select the files you want(one or more files can be selected).

Storage Memory

memory card isn't really memory it's more like a disk drive. it's not like when you add memory to a PC and the new memory is automatically used. To make use of this card you need to transfer some of your larger files to the card.... You can move files from within the ipaq... Click and hold on file. Select Copy Click and hold Select Cut Navigate with File Explorer to the SD card.... Open File Explorer Select My device Now select SD Card You can create a new folder or select an existing folder Click on Edit at bottom of screeen. Select Paste. You can also move files directly from PC to Storage card...... While IPAQ is connected, go to My Computer, then double-click on Mobile Device, then double-click on Pocket PC. Now you will see your Storage Card, and you can use this just like a folder on your PC. You can create folders within it. You can click and drag files to it or to any of it's folders.
