Resetting a machine back to factory default aint a good plan, all you need is to find the admin password out, this is stored in 08 mode ( test mode D ) it's code is 263 ( Administrator's password ( Maximum 10 digits ) )
switch the machine on holding down 0 & 8, keep them held down till a beep occurs ( the extension key should light up on the control panel ), the screen will then come up with Test Mode D, now key in 263 then press the green start button. you should now see the admin password on the screen / be able to change it's value back to 123456 or whatever you wish. press set on the screen to accept the new value / keep current value, then just switch off / back on as normal.

The Toshiba eStudio 350/450 copier is one of the more popular copiers available in the marketplace. Toshiba has provided a simple method to recover the password and, if need be, reset the copier settings.
Resetting a copier to its original settings is a simple way to fix several problems.

Step Make sure the machine is off. While holding down the "0" and "8" buttons on the keypad, turn the copier back on. Keep holding the "0"' and "8" buttons until the copier lets out a long beep. This will activate "Test Mode D."
Step Type in '263' on the keypad and press the green start button. The password should now show up on the copier's screen. At this point, you can type in a new password if you choose to do so.
Step Press 'Set' to set the new password. Turn the machine off, wait fifteen seconds, and then turn it back on.
Step Go to the functions you wish to reset through the main menu and press "Function Clear." If prompted, type in the password. Repeat for any function you wish to reset.

What is the Windows XP Administrator Password?

<p>Windows XP, the most popular versions of Windows, was widely installed by PC users. Do you remember after you installing your first copy of Windows XP, how long did it require you to realize that you didn't know the administrator password? I vaguely remembered that it was about a week before I needed to make some changes in the file system. It suddenly came to me to be logged on as an administrator, but I do not know the password of the administrator! <br /> <p> <br /> <p><img src="windows-xp-administrator-password.jpg" /> <p><br /> Luckily, Windows XP (both Home and Professional versions) have a "hidden" administrator account which is autogenerate when install. This account usually doesn't show up on the logon screen and most people are totally unaware of its existence. Usually it is ok because we didn't need to user this account very often, only when we don't know the administrator password, need access to the Windows XP recovery console or boot into Windows XP safe mode, the default <b>Windows XP administrator password</b> would come in handy.<br /> <p><br /> What is the Default Administrator Password in Windows XP?</b><br /> <p><br /> Knowing the default password of Windows XP administrator account would be very useful.<br /> <ol> <li>Try to leave the password blank. Using this wizard, a floppy disk or USB flash drive can be used to create a specific password reset disk for specific user account on a specific Windows XP computer. The password reset disk can only be used with the computer it was created on and it can also be reused to reset the account's password multiple times. However, you need to know the password of the account you want to create the reset disk for, and you must create the reset disk before you forget the administrator password <br /> Here is how to <a href="http://recoverlostpassword.com/products/windowspasswordrecoery.html">reset XP administrator password</a> with the XP password reset disk:<br /> <ol> <li>Insert the XP password reset disk to the computer</li> <li>Click the Use your password reset disk item on the XP logon screen to start the Password Reset Wizard. Instead, there are several things you can try to get access to your windows. <b>SmartKey Windows Password Recovery</b> is your ticket. This password recovery tool not only works on Windows XP, but also on all releases of Windows NT/2000/Vista/ 7 and Windows Server 2003/2008. The password for the Administrator account is used to create the EFS encryption key. Changing the Administrator account back to using the original password should restore access to the encrypted files, but I have never tried it.<br /> <p> <br /> <p>If you only need to blank the <b>Windows XP Administrator password</b>, here are the basic steps:<br /> <ol> <li> Download and install SmartKey Windows Password Recovery software.</li> <li> Burn the software to CD/DVD or USB flash drive. </li> <li> Insert newly created CD/DVD and reboot your computer from the CD/DVD or USB flash drive </li> <li> Reset the forgotten Windows XP password, remove the CD/DVD or USB flash drive and then reboot the computer</li></ol> <p>Having the capability to reset <a href="http://recoverlostpassword.com/products/windowspasswordrecoery.html">forgotten XP administrator passwords</a> and regain access to a locked computer can be a great time saver, but should only be tried by an IT professional. you may probably make things worse rather than better if you use sophisticated system or manipulation tools<br /> <p><br /> <p>Article Source:<a href="http://recoverlostpassword.com/article/windows-xp-administrator-password.html">http://recoverlostpassword.com/article/windows-xp-administrator-password.html</a><br />

I forgot my password on my projector how to reset a password for dell 1201mp projector manually without using a remote control

  1. Access the projector with the administrator password. In case you never set or do not know this password, use the default administrator password 1234 or the 6-digit password which is provided on the Security Card, shipped with the projector.
  2. Once you access the projector menu, press the menu button. Press ? twice to go to the Management menu.
  3. Navigate to Security, and press ? to open the Security menu. If you are prompted for the administrator password, enter the password again.
  4. Navigate to User Password. Press ? to set a new password using the numeric keys on the remote control. Press Menu to confirm.
  5. You can select when the user will be prompted for the password: only when the power cable has been reconnected, or each time the projector is powered on. Press Menu to confirm.

When your computer boots and the login screen appears press control(ctrl) + alt + delete twice. This will bring up a window asking you for your username and password.
Type "administrator" without the quotes as the username and leave the password field blank. Press OK.
When you are logged in as an administrator change the password for your old username using control panel>user accounts.

If this doesn't work then you need to reset the administrator password. Visit this link -> >LINK<

Forgot windows acount access password; need to reset it?

Hi osio123 - if you're running XP here is how you do it. If you're running Vista let me know.

Log in to any account that has Administrator access.
Then go to User Accounts in Control Panel.
Select the user and change the password.

For Windows XP Pro:
At the log-in screen, press Ctrl/Alt/Del twice quickly
Type "Administrator" and leave password blank.

For Windows XP Home:
Reboot, tapping F8 each second.
Select Safe Mode at the menu.
Select Administrator at login, leave password blank.
Most Administrator accounts don't have passwords.

Then go to User Accounts in Control Panel.
Select the user and change the password.

If this gets you in, go to the list on the left side, and after you change your password create a password recovery disk.

If this fixes your problem PLEASE rate this as fixed. IF NOT, DON'T RATE YET. Add a comment and let me know exactly what happened when you tried it. I'll be happy to assist you further. Thanks.
