Hi, check to see if the monitor is still under warranty. if it is you can call acer support 866 695 2237 (they have a poor reputation) but if you are persistent you get what you need. if you are out of warranty you might try calling some local repair shops to see if they can help. there is a small possibility that this has to do with your gpu (your video processor) some are separate parts that can be replaced, most are built into the motherboard and a separate video card can be installed easily as a work around. this would be nice if it was the case, however it is most likely a problem in the monitor. if it is an expensive monitor ($250+) you might be able to have it repaired. repairs like this require special equipment and can be quite expensive. if it is a low priced unit if may be more realistic replacing it. newegg.com has good prices and are excellent in fasts shipping and handle any problem quickly. it is important that you not try any repairs yourself. there are campasitors in monitors that hold a big charge long after they are unplugged, you can get seriously injured. i know this is a lot of bad news and not much help, but lcd/led monitor problems are tricky and often repair are simply not possible or economically reasonable. good luck, aokcmpter
