On my wash&dry machine

This just happened to me, so I called my extended warranty company. They told me that I am using too much soap and I should cut the amouny in half (I fill the he soap top to #2 line). To fix the problem they told me to put 2 caps full of fabric softner into the soap dispenser and run the wash again. I am now happily washing again.
