I think you need to register the wii controller to the wii because sometimes the PS3 when you buy another controller you have to register the device to the Ps3 before you can play so i think the Wii may have the same controller registeration. So if it doesn't work try using the controller you 1st got from the box because in order to use the controllers it has to be registered hope it helped.

Give me some credit

Controller recharge lights flash 15 times then go off for 15 seconds not charging handset

I think 2 things here Bob. Either your battery is about to take a nose dive, or you are using an after market charging cord. NOT ALL CORDS WILL CHARGE THE CONTROLLER!!! The cheapest thing to do, is try another cord. And if this don't work, the battery is actually inexpensive and easy to replace.

Hi , i have got a charging stand which holds the wii console and two rechargable hand controllers. do you charge them with the controllers off or on.

The most efficient way to charge the batteries in the controller would be while they are off. While they should charge either way, the batteries will recharge faster if the controller is off and not drawing any power.

Wont come on play good last nite battery went dead and then it would charge

Hello :

First you need to check the charger . If charger is working fine , then check the power cord . If the power cord is working fine , then the problem is that the battery is dead [ can't be recharged anymore ] . You need to replace the battery in a such situation .
If it's none of that , then I recommend you to replace it , if you still have the guarantee . Or just take it to the service .

good luck .

My controller keeps shutting down and doesn't want to charge why

If it is an older controller, that batteries inside maybe worn out and not hold a charge anymore, you will most likely have to buy a new controller for it. so the lights on the controller still flash when plugged into the ps3?

360 controler not working properly

The batteries might be low. If you're using the rechargable batteries they might be bad. I've had some of my rechargable batteries go bad after only a few hours of gameplay and one charge. If their within one year old microsoft will replace the batteries at no charge.

Wii remote doesn't come on. Blue lights don't

Hi,

Thanks for using FixYa!

If the blue light on your Wii controller doesn't light up, its possible that it ran out of battery charge. If you think your battery is fully charged. try to buy a set of disposable battery and see if they will work. If they do work, it means your rechargeable batteries have gone bad.

Have a great day.

Problem with wii controller charger

Sounds like you broke your remote to me. did the batteries leak on your remote? If so, try to clean the contacts on the remote (the spring on one side and the flat one on the other). You may need to use a nail file to scrape off the gunge.

Now, why did this happen? Did you put rechargable batteries in your wiimote before you put it on the charger? And if so, did yo put the CORRECT TYPE of rechargables? There's a big difference between nickle cadmium (Ni-CD), Nickle Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), and Rechargable Alkaline. Putting the wrong type of battery, or a non-rechargable battery into the wrong recharger causes leaking, explosion and fire... as the charger and the batteries warn you of all over.

PSP CHARGING PROBLEMS

The way to properly break in a lithium Ion battery is to run it dead before you recharge it. Then fully recharge it and run it until it's dead again. Do this about 3-5 times and then the battery is properly broken in. If you charge it before it dies on a new battery you can build what they call a "memory" where the battery thinks it's fully charged however it's only maybe half charged and you will lose alot of life out of your battery. So make sure you properly break it in.
