Are you sure it is set to save images to the card and not the camera's internal memory ?

Have you inserted an SD card as the built in memory on the camera is only 12.7 Mb big so an SD card should be inserted. Hope this helps.

Funny, I recently bought the exact same model. The answer to your question is simple (that's the good news!)

A long time ago, when these small SD Cards first appeared, they were limited in capacity from 128 Megabytes (MB) to a maximum capacity of 2 Gigabytes (GB).

To enable the same size card to store a greater capacity, a new specification had to be created. This new spec. was SDHC, and allowed the cards to store from 4 GB up to 32 GB.

The confusion arises because people still refer to all these cards as 'SD cards' when the higher capacity cards should really be called 'SDHC' cards.

Your camera will accept standard SDHC cards. Just make sure you don't order 'mini' cards which are much smaller in dimension.

Yes all noted on your SD/CF card question, well this was a very good question for me simply because I too have had this same problem with my own Sony Digital 340 movie camera.
My camera come with a 128 mb SD card, and like a fool I went last week and bought a 2 g card, and my camera just cannot see it let alone use it, and I now find that camera's before 2004 cannot see any g cards, and like me you are stuck with small max of 128 m because the camera hard-ware is old tec stuff, sad I think my friend, but that's it.

Did you format the card in the camera before you tried to use it?

sounds like you got taken on the ebay buy. If the seller will not assist you with a working code, enter a paypal dispute and get your money back.

Sounds like 2 things, unformatted SD card and carbon based alkaline batteries. If using SD card, you MUST FORMAT the card upon first use and then occasionally there after. This model camera cannot use an SD card bigger than 1GB, so make sure you aren't using a 2GB or higher. Also, make sure you stay away from alkaline batteries, you will waste your money. Try using Energizer Lithium or Duracell Power Pix, you will get your moneys worth.

I would have thought so, I have an older model than this (the 206) but it has a general manual for the instructions / recipes. They're pretty simple to use, but always put the ingredients in the order they are listed - e.g. yeast, flour, dry ingredients, then liquid. This stops the water from spoiling the yeast.

Take out the media card, then do a factory reset.

Copy the existing photos on to your PC, switch off the camera. Remove the SD card and format the SD-card using a SD-card reader, this will clear all the card contents. Now try using it in your Camera again. Ideally, you should be able to save photos on this SD card. Other way would be to insert another SD card into your camera and click photos and check whether those photos are being saved into the SD card(this can be done using display option in your digicam.)
