Looks like you need to run the installation disc that came with the camera , first you should remove any information of camera register to your computer (unistall it) then run the program again ,hope this helps

Consider NOT connecting the camera to the computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

I cannot get ther pictures off of my camera and onto my computer

The important thing is, did you install the CD FIRST, and then connect the camera? If you did it in the reverse order, the drivers for the camera will be loaded wrong and need to be removed and reinstalled.
Removing a driver:
If you have done the faux pas above, all the installs in the world will not fix it. You MUST remove the USB driver. Use Device Manager. In XP, this is found by right clicking my computer and selecting properties. In properties select the hardware tab and choose 'Device Manager'.

Stop here. If you have no idea what I wrote, review 'Device Manager' on the Windows Website or ask a KNOWLEDGABLE friend for help. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310123.

Now, select the USB device, while it is plugged in to the USB port, and right click. Select 'Uninstall'. Remove your USB device when device manager is done.

Close Device manager and all the other windows. Start your USB install from scratch, without the USB plugged in untill the install asks or completes.
I have ALWAYS had successful installs with this method.

My computer cant identify my camera

as a rule of thumb for most usb devices... install the software first, and the installation will prompt you when to connect the usb device to the computer. If no success, try using one of the usb plugs on the back of the computer.

USB Message keeps flashing

Do a Google search with the following string:

(Brand Name) (Model Number) +driver

Download and install the latest drivers for your camera, this should correct any software problems in your camera. The problem with the computer may be related to the software problem in the camera.

Hope this helps.

Have you connected any other USB devices to your PC? The USB ports can only supply a small amount of power and some devices especially USB connected hard drives consume more power than it can provide so they usually have an external power supply. Remove any other USB devices & try again. Did you have your camera connected before with a power adapter? Are you camera batteries fully charged? Let us know how you get on...

No usb port found

If you can't find such on your machine, then it's either disabled, the BIOS is out of date, the OS doesn't support your USB (Examples abound!) or other. I cut my time loss by adding an USB PCI card.
