Hanspree 37"

I have just purchased a hanspree 37" tv and when it is plugged into the playstation (through HDMI or scart) it has a red tinge/wave to the shaddows. It also does this on the normal tv setting but to a lesser extent. Is there something wrong with it or do i just need to change a setting?
