Picture has on the bottom right 1/4 of screen green tint going diagonial. Put in new lamp picture is brighter but the green is still there. Is there a economical fix for this or just buy a new tv?

There are crystals/prisms in your light engine that have been shifted. A repair shop may or may not be able to fix this issue. I would ask them how much it would cost for them to make the adjustment. If they say they can't, call around to different repair shops to see if they can. If non can, you need to buy a new T.V. unless you want to pay 800 dollars for a new light engine.

The Tvrepairkits.com to buy a convergence kit, will fix ur red color line or color shadow pictures drifts problems. But u must have tools like a soldering iron,a desoldering pump or a roll of desoldering braids,a roll of solders, also can u do basic soldering skills work, than u can fix this problems.Yes,the new tv design have Energy Star incorporated in it design and will save u energy and some money, but the power consuption of a big screen tv any century era, still will cost u alot of money to operate it.

My almost 10 yr old Mitsubishi HDTV intermitently has color flux

The Main issues with the Mitsubishi HDTVs that size are the projection bulbs in the rear. A large TV like the Mitsubishi can allow dust build up on the lamps and the mirror in the rear that projects the picture to the screen. An easy fix would be to clean off the dust off of the mirror and bulbs. You would need to go through a tough processto do this since the mirror can be quite heavy and is in an ackward place. The only other alternative would be the need to replace the projection lamps themselves which can cost any where fromm $150 - in some cases $300 a piece for the lamp itself. The Television is still a great set but can cost quite a bit right now to fix if the problem is with the Lamps. If you can afford the Lamp replacement if it is needed the set would last you another 10 years plus. If you wouldn't like to go through the hassle of repairing the set or finding a place to repair the set there are so many new sets out in the market that will give you an amazing picture and quality.

Mitsubishi dlp 52525 garbled rolling picture. Picture just colored lines, rolling slowly. Sound fine, fairly new lamp.

You most likely have defective capacitors in your electrical chassis. It's best to send the entire chassis back to the manufacturer for total rebuilding. The cost is about $350 + labor, unless you can remove the chassis yourself.
Good luck.

I have a Mitsubishi 55 inch rear projection tv, ws55819 on which the convergance is gone bad. I'm getting a concave picture with multiple colors and black lines with a blurred picture. this happens mutiple...

Your reference to concave picture suggests a high voltage problem and not convergence. If the raster can't scan from left to right , top to bottom, your having High voltage trouble. if your colors are not dropping on top of each other that is convergence. I would suggest it may be time to consider a purchase of the new HD set for the cost of this repair. good luck

The picture is curved in at the top and bottom of the sides.

This issue is caused by the micro capacitors and the convergence module, the capacitors are part of the main circuit board, the job will cost around $600 to repair, better option is a new TV.

I have the same problem with my tv, my tv tech said mitsubishi knows of the problem and knows how to fix it, but it would cost me 700.00 plus his labor to take out the chassis and send it in to mitsubishi, plus I would be without a tv for up to a month. this is b.s.

Try replaceing capacitors C2C52 10uf 50V capacitor and also C2P05 100uf 16V capacitor. these are both on the signal board. It that doesnt correct the issue replace IC2P01 which is the 9volt regulator also located on the signal board. That should take care of your problem

When Turned on Picture curved at top and bottom

I would try soldering your convergence amp ICs. Mitsubishi has had some issues with sparse solder at the ICs Dress up the solder a bit and see if this helps. If not you will no doubt need to replace the ICs there are two of them and they cost about 10.00 each. Let me know if you need anything further.
