Not all the speakers working

Open your audio control panel and set it to 5.1 surrond sound. Not all speakers will work unless a dolby surrond sound signal is being sent out. There will be a pseudo surrond setting which will emulate the 5.1 for you in the audio control panel

All speakers work on sound level test but i have no music coming from rear, center and sub when playing 5.1 dvd. also i am unable to use any of the surrond sound modes. richard

What cable did you hook up your dvd? The 5.1 sound works only with optical cable or HDMI. Check in the input settings wich one is selected. With the analog cable ( Stereo RCA) is not working. Good luck!

Static coming from the front right speaker. Sound now fades in and out, unit is only 2 years old.

I had this same issue about a year after I bought the product. Sent it back under warranty and about a year later, I have the exact same issue again. Never buying samsung receivers again.

Problem with the volume of the T.V

I have a 50in plasma phillips has a volume problem sometimes you don't get sound and I go to another channel sometimes it works and when it doesn't i turn on my surround sound and never has failed me.I talked to a verizon service man and he has the same problem he thinks it is a issue with the cable boxes on the signal coming in that channel.I would suggest hook the TV up to your own speakers it will sound better.

Kenwood VR6070 speaker/amp problems

unit needs repair. Look at the b speakers. Conect a speaker or two to the B position. If you have no sound than your surrond sound is ok and the unit is bad. Sound comes directly into the b speaker and not threw the surrond system. My 6070 has a cold start up problem. no sound. time to purchase a new one. to costly to repair.

Hi...
You have a faulty reciever.
Take it back and get another.
No sense in going any further.

Creative Labs Inspire 5.1 5200 Speaker System

You could test the speakers on another computer or another type of player.
As for testing the speaker itself you might want to open them up and look for rust.. Moisture could have gotten inside and ruined them.
That is the best that I can do.

Setting up receive set top box and tv for surround sound

Plug the TV to an open channel on your receiver via this output:
*Rear, 1 x Digital audio output (coaxial) ( TOSLINK )
This will look like a single RCA output plug.
Set that input channel on your receiver to some sort of virtual surround mode because it doesn't look like your HDTV has a decoder in it (meaning it will come out stereo and the receiver will have to fake it).
Turn the volume all the way down on the TV and use the receiver to control TV volume just as you do with DVDs.

*Substitute this with the digital audio output on your set top box if you are sending video only to the TV from the set top box (component, DVI or s-video connections). So video goes to the TV, audio to the receiver.
