Kenmore Gas Dryer does not dry clothes.

If this is the electric version then after 15 years you probably need a new heating element, they are not difficult to install and are not terribly expensive as a DIY project.

I have a Kenmore electric (front load) dryer, model number 84092500 that would spin but does not produce any heat. I tried cleaning/vacuumin the tubing that vents to the outside and resetting the circuit...

The first step of the fix has been done by cleaning the lint filter and the vent system. The next step is replacing the thermal cut-off and the high-limit thermostat both located on the blower housing. It is common that the dryer stops heating when the thermal cut-off blows open due to the failure of the high-limit thermostat to cycle off and regulate the heater temperature. The thermal cut-off cuts power to the heating element should the high-limit thermostat fails and the dryer temperature goes extremely high as a safety feature. Dryer still runs it just isn't getting warm

The heating element is wired in series with a thermal cut-off and a high-limit thermostat both located on the heater housing. The thermal cut-off blows open when the high-limit thermostat fails to cycle off in order to regulate the heating element temperature. When the thermal cut-off is blown, power to the element is cut-off and the dryer will not heat. Replacing both thermal cut-off and the high-limit thermostat if the former is indeed blown. Kenmore dryer blows cold air. I replaced heat element still no luck? model 96263800

It doesn't necessarily mean the heating element is busted when an electric dryer stops heating. The heating circuit is not just composed solely by the heating element, it is composed by the thermal cut-off, high-limit thermostat, cycling thermostat, motor centrifugal switch, and the timer. The first thing to look at when an electric dryer stops heating is the thermal cut-off. It cuts power to the heating element when it blows most likely due to the failure of the high-limit thermostat. The thermal cut-off must be replaced, together with the high-limit thermostat, if found open. Click on the link below for the detailed instructions in troubleshooting this problem.

My dryer does not get hot anymore

The thermal cut-off located on the heater housing is likely blown. It blows if there's an issue with clogged ducts and/or faulty high-limit thermostat. These components including the cycling thermostat on the blower housing are wired in series with the heating element and power to the heating element is terminated if one of them, usually the thermal cut-off, cuts or blows open. My Kenmore dryer seems to have a mind of it's own on heating. Sometimes it heats very hot, sometimes little heat at all. It does not seem to matter what setting it is on, low, med, or high. Nor does it...

when was the last time you cleaned it out,try running it with the vent line removed, you need to clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into, vac out the inside of dryer where the motor is,if you have a shop vac put it on blow and blow off the motor and clean out the vent line and the outside vent,if the vent line is long i use a leaf blower to clean out the vent line, also is it gas or electric?next time send model number?if it's gas you could have bad gas coils, when they heat up they fail, clothes are warm at end of cycle.run the dryer for 15 to 30 minutes and check to see if the flame is still lighting if not bad gas coils.hope this helps

NO HEAT

Either heater is burned up, or high limit is bad. If you take dryer apart and get to heater you will be able to visibly see the broken heater wire. To check high limit switch disconnect the only two wires on the switch and using Ohm meter put one lead on each terminal. Should read closed if switch is good. High limit switch is located on panel covering heater coils If heater is not broken, and high limit switch is closed then you are losing power on your temperature control.
