Hi do you have a card reader the only way to check if their on their is using a card reader as this will let you look at different files to the ones you can get on the camera.

The only other problem is that you might have a virus on computer that wiped it as soon as you connected to comp.
Let me know if you have tried the card reader.

If you dont have on then you can go into certain shops that have camera printing machines and then put your card in their just incase their under a file your camera cant access

Hi just checking up on my recent posts if the camera shop has no luck then the only thing you can try is getting a card reader and put the card into this and see if this pick them up failing this it looks like your comp may have formated the memory card.

I had more than a thousand pictures in my mem card... the camera shutted down because it had no battery... i charged the battery and when i switch it on only 200 pictures left... can i still recover the...

Suggestions: 1. Get a card reader and use it to download the contents of the card to your computer. 2.Take the card to Walmart and use their picture kiosk machines to either print the pictures,(although over a thousand pictures would cost about $280) or a more economical solution would be to use the machine to make CD's of the pics. typrice_256.jpg

My camedia c2500l camera shows a card error message when loaded with a 1gb CF card. The card reads OK on my PC. It is loaded with about 200 photos that have been taken on the camera over the past 2 years...

Get all pictures to your PC and format card on PC(FAT32).
Try to put it in the camera.
If it's not going to work, pins are bent inside the camera's card reader.
Needs service.

The 1GB disk, only takesabout 22 pictures beforeit says the memory is full

Check the setting where the pictures are being stored. It may be still storing to the internal memory.

Also check what resolution you are capturing your snaps. Although 22 pictures should not fill your memory but high resolution photos can take 5-6 MB /photo, so you can accomodate about 180-200 photos in 1GB. Try reducing the photo resolution, if you are not planning to print them.

Also, have you downloaded all the previous snaps from the card and deleted it from the 1GB card?

Deleted photos on a 1gb memory card. Can they be recovered?

Yes. Google picture recovery, or file recovery software.

1GB XD card can't get photo from it.

Ooops. This might be trouble. There are a couple of options you can pursue, but I almost guarantee you're going to lose at least a few of your photos. The card has become corrupted, so you'll need to purchase a data recovery program for your computer...just type "Data Recovery Program" in your search engine, and a list will pop up. Once that's installed, have the program try to recover the data on the card, and see what happens. Failing that, you'll have to take the card to either a computer or camera service depot, and have them try. Sorry about that, and best of luck!

I'm having trouble downloading photos to my computer with the software that came with my camera. What can I do? I went strictly by the manual on how to download pictures to my computer, and it is like my...

You do not need Camera Software to download pic to computer. Look for CAMERA or USB Storage Device in you MyComputer folder.

Your camera should show up in MyComputer as a Drive Device. If it does, just double click on it to view mem card contents. Drag and Drop or right click to Copy and Paste to your Pictures Folder or wherever folder.

Better yet, avoid these hassles forever by buying yourself a mine card reader that plugs directly into our USB port. I recommend the SanDisk Mobile Mate SD+. It is just a little larger than a USB Flash Drive and reads SD, SDHC, and MicroSD mem cards. No more unique and bulky USB cables to lug around and saves your camera battery power that otherwise is needed to view and download pics via cable.

$15 at RadioShack, Stapes, or anywhere mem cards are sold.
BTW, for maximum shot to shot response times on the TZ3, buy mem cards that specify at least a 10Megbits/sec data xfer speed. SanDisk Ultra II cards meet this spec. No need for faster more expensive Ultra III that cost more. Probably not worth buying unless you were going to buy a card anyway. TZ3 can handle SDHC(HighCapacity) mem cards to 8Gigabit. Very handy for mem hungry Movie clips.

Retrieving file

There are companies that claim to be able to retrieve deleted files on mem cards, if their space has not been written over by other pics taken sense, or a mem card FORMAT. Google it.

Your better approach may be to try to recover the files showing 3Meg size on your computer download. Sounds like mem card quit working correctly after first 100 photoes. Was this a name brand SD card like San Disk or Panasonic? Beware of off brand junk sold on ebay or other sites CHEAP. They are designed to report back the size they claim to be, but are 1/2 size capacity or less in reality. You never know until you need your photos. The other thing is SD cards fail and are never a good as a BackUp source for files. For file xfers only in general.

Good lesson for all is to be sure all your pics show up on your computer before deleting on camera.

Compatibility with SDHC/SD2 Logo?

never try to use more than what the spec recommends, when it says 1gb* max use 1gbmax. It is better to use two or more 1gb max than one 4gb card cause when the 4gb card brakes down you'll lose all 4gbmem, unlike when you have four 1gb. besides 1gb is too much or too big or i may say enough to mem too many pictures!
