DISCONNECT THE EXHAUST FROM THE BACK OF THE DRYER. RUN ONE LOAD OF LAUNDRY. IF THE LOAD DRIES O.K., THE EXHAUST DUCT IS RESTRICTED. CLEAN OUT THE DUCT WORK. IF IT IS FLEXIBLE MATERIAL, REPLACE WITH RIGID METAL DUCT WORK.

SOURCE: dryer heats, tumbles clothes, blows air out exhause vent, but wont dry clothes

what type is this electric or gas? have you removed the exsaust from the wall and ran a load like this? if you have heat and this is an electric dryer it sounds like you have a blockage in your house. if the dryer runs fine without the exsaust attached then that is your problem. let me know

SOURCE: electric dryer tumbles but does

Heating element has gone bad. You need to unplug unit. remove back, then find heating element and remove it. Look for what looks like broken springs, if found replace element. 99% of electric dryers not drying are the heating element. Cost around $50

Amana NED7200TW dryer. Has heat, tumbles, clothes don't dry. Vents have been gone through and cleaned. This happens in the sensor dry and time dry modes. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Just a question. Does your blower work. If your blower does not work it won't dry. Check blower belt. Mine broke and had no air blowing. Just a thought.

Dryer tumbles but clothes won't dry

Hi,

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....

If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.

check out this electric no heat tip...
