I can send faxes but can't receive them.Why?

I CANNOT RECEIVE FAXES. WHEN THE PHONE RINGS I ONLY SEE "PHONE PICKUP" AND NO FAX. I HAVE PUNCHED EVERYTHING I COULD IN THE FUNCTION SELECTION WITH NO RESULTS. THE FAX HAD NEVER BEEN USED. WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THE FAX COMING IN? THANKS AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL.....JUNE
